WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
Big Dog Walkin' offers daycare, 30 or 60 minute walks, brief let outs, overnight boarding, baths, and cat visits.
Our most popular services are daycare and walks. Daycare is great for the pup that has endless energy or just needs some dog time. It's all day play, including park trips and walks around the neighborhood. Walks are perfect for the pup that needs exercise, but can be overwhelmed by larger groups. Our walks are pack walks of 3 or 4 at a time so they'll meet some friends without becoming overstimulated. Walks have a minimum service requirement of 2 walks within a week that you use us.
Let outs are solo services typically reserved for unvaccinated puppies, ill dogs, dogs who cannot manage a full walk, breeds not covered by our insurance, or dogs who have recently undergone a procedure. They consist of a brief potty break and a meal for puppies if they need it.
Overnight boarding can be done in our employees' homes or in your own. We recommend sending boarding dates to us no later than 2 weeks in advance as it takes time for our employees to coordinate their schedules. If it is your first time boarding with BDW then we do require a trial overnight prior to the full boarding period.
Baths can be added for any dog attending daycare for the day. Baths include a brush, wash, and blow dry.
Cat visits are brief visits with your cat to pet, play with, feed, and scoop litter while you're away. If needed, you can schedule multiple visits per day.
WHAT VACCINATIONS DO YOU REQUIRE?
We require all of our pups to be up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough). Dogs that are not up to date cannot participate in group services until they are.
WHAT IF MY DOG ISN'T FULLY VACCINATED?
If your dog is not fully vaccinated we can provide let outs for them or a solo walk for an additional charge.
HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR SERVICES?
We use an online scheduling service called Time To Pet. Prior to starting services we require a brief meet and greet with you and your dog. If you are interested in daycare and will not require transportation, you can schedule one here. If you are interested in walks, let outs, or daycare with transportation, you can schedule one here. If you are interested in boarding, please send us an email with some info about your dog and the dates you will need.
Once you have completed the meet and greet we will enroll you in Time To Pet and you can schedule your services there!
